The Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program (Fulbright TGC) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by IREX. Fulbright TGC is a multi-phased, blended-learning fellowship designed to equip U.S. elementary, middle, and high school teachers with skills to infuse their curriculum and pedagogy with global learning perspectives. 

The program is a yearlong professional learning opportunity and a short-term exchange for elementary, middle, and high school educators from the United States to develop skills to prepare students for a competitive global economy. Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms equips educators to bring an international perspective to their schools through targeted training, experience abroad, and global collaboration.

An opportunity for K–12 educators from the United States to conduct research and engage in other professional learning experiences abroad for three to six months.

This program sends expert K–12 educators from the United States to participating countries and territories to carry out short-term assignments abroad.

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. They promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange.

Since 1972, GAPP facilitates enriching cultural exchanges between schools in the U.S. and Germany.

Wunderbar Together is "dedicated to promoting the close friendship between Germany and the US, rooted in deep historic ties, shared values, and bold visions for the future."

As an accelerated dual-enrollment program that is part of the State College of Florida, Manatee - Sarasota, SCFCS has a responsibility to prepare students for every post-secondary opportunity. This toolkit provides resources to help STEM, CTE, and community college educators integrate global issues and skills into what is already being taught in their classrooms.
